The Adventure Day for the young people
of MYNI (Muslim Youth – Northern Ireland) is being
run and organised by Belfast Islamic Centre in conjunction
with an Outdoor Education organisation called “Mobile
Team Adventure”. This organisation is staffed by
a highly skilled and qualified team of instructors. Their

The activities being planned for the Adventure Day will
include:-
• Archery
• Blind Trail (Learning to follow a forest trail
whilst blindfolded!!)
• Forest Team Games
• Canoeing
• Initiative Games
The activity programme will begin at 10.00 am
and finish at 4.00 pm. Afterwards there will be a BBQ.
All the safety equipment
will be provided by Mobile Team Adventure so this will
ensure that the young people are safe and secure whilst
participating in the activities.
The venue for the programme is Shaw’s Bridge
in Belfast on Monday 23 June 2008. We would like people
to be there by 09.45am. The activity programme is designed
for young people between the ages of 11 and 17. However
those coming to collect their children are welcome to
stay for the BBQ.
A consent form should be signed by the parents before
the young people can participate in the programme.
Please ensure that the young people bring with them a
change of clothing as they may get wet during the day.
