(Muslim Youth – Northern Ireland)

The Adventure Day for the young people of MYNI (Muslim Youth – Northern Ireland) is being run and organised by Belfast Islamic Centre in conjunction with an Outdoor Education organisation called “Mobile Team Adventure”. This organisation is staffed by a highly skilled and qualified team of instructors. Their website is www.mobileteamadventure.co.uk . If you visit the website you will see the range of activities they offer.

The activities being planned for the Adventure Day will include:-

• Archery
• Blind Trail (Learning to follow a forest trail whilst blindfolded!!)
• Forest Team Games
• Canoeing
• Initiative Games

The activity programme will begin at 10.00 am and finish at 4.00 pm. Afterwards there will be a BBQ.

All the safety equipment will be provided by Mobile Team Adventure so this will ensure that the young people are safe and secure whilst participating in the activities.

The venue for the programme is Shaw’s Bridge in Belfast on Monday 23 June 2008. We would like people to be there by 09.45am. The activity programme is designed for young people between the ages of 11 and 17. However those coming to collect their children are welcome to stay for the BBQ.

A consent form should be signed by the parents before the young people can participate in the programme.

Please ensure that the young people bring with them a change of clothing as they may get wet during the day.

Please contact Muhammad AL-Qaryooti on 07894793208 for more information and confirmation of attendance
